How can there be time

One entry from the Singapore Writer's Fest [100-word epic challenge]:

"How can there be time to write a story when we’re all too busy stirring waking sitting standing waddling stumbling-to-the-bathroom groping scratching yawning peeing wiping brushing shaving showering wondering-what-to-wear-today? Dressing eating leaving running missing cursing waiting waiting waiting boarding smelling getting-off-and-rushing (again) squeezing sitting reading sleeping ignoring-old-ladies-and-mums-to-be. Walking jaywalking greeting emailing working slacking surfing snacking calling eating sweating cooling slacking working snacking surfing hanging-out-by-the-cooler slacking leaving meeting waving smiling-hello-dear-how-was-your-day? Strolling eating chatting drinking laughing smiling paying adjourning entering kissing cuddling petting sucking watching moaning gasping pretending screaming pretending kissing turniing drifting drifting dreaming how there can be any time to"

How can there be time when we wait to rush and rush to wait and do not do anything while we wait (or are unable to do anything while we wait)?

Wow. I would like to meet the Singaporean who wrote that. Put a smile on my face. :)
